Weiner Microcar Museum

Also on my way to Georgia I passed the Weiner Microcar Museum but it was shut until next year. I did shoot a deer (with the camera).

Manuals

Manuals I picked up on my way to Georgia. The picture on the Clymer manual is super, with a Squareback with Georgia plates pulling a trailer and racecar. The other is from Verlag, Delius and Klasing.

DC Gas Lines

While I had the engine out I drained the gas and renewed the rubber and copper gas lines.

Engine Swap

I swapped out the H Block 1500cc engine for the Zebra's 1600 Single Port. This should give a bit extra power and better cooling with the doghouse. When I put the engine in it was backfiring badly out of the carb. I found I had to adjust the valves again and now it's running nicely.

Off to the metal recycler. 400lb of rusty metal = $50. In contrast a 1/2lb black bag of aluminium cans yielded $5.
