My back wa still out, but we had Elvis loaded up and ther girls had been busy making jewelry so we headed up to Tampa. Wow was it hot. We got rid of a few things and started raising money for Morrow.

Morrow - Don't look Down

Morrow had four tires with air and we were able to winch him up onto John's trailer and then push him over onto ours. This was a great idea as my back had gone out. We trailered him home with his passenger door waving "hi" to everyone. The trip took around 3 hours with no mishaps. A neighbour helped us push him up the driveway. We swept out loads of debris then put him in the garage and let off a bug bomb. Dinosaur sized roaches and ants came running out. I checked his vin and he should be a '66 originally imported through New York. Also the M-Code options show the US spec with seat belts and 3 pop out windows. He is going to be a lot more work than I thought. Even the better driver's side has filler and a cheap thin repair panel. SLOW AND STEADY will win the race.

Lost and Found

Some VWs that are awaiting restoration (or rustoration?).

'61 Double Door

This wan't for sale, but is a very interesting 11 window double door. It also has pop-out side windows and is walk thru.

Morrow

Here is my birthday present from Vicky. His name is "Morrow" and he has been sitting since 1982. Vicky wanted a 21 or 23 window bus for a resto project. Well we sure do have one here. He wasn't scavenged over so has all his bits. Whether it had a little or lot of rust will still involve similar work as we plan on new panels.
